Appointments
Finding "The Dress"
As a Dame Bride you deserve to be treated like a lady with our undivided attention creating that special and personal dress finding experience. We encourage our brides not to make an appointment unless they are ready to purchase a gown. There are several reasons we encourage you to only shop when you are ready to find "The One", and it's all about giving you the best experience possible.
"Pre-shopping appointments" sound super fun and glamourous, but can turn out to be a nightmare due to the fact when you find the dress without your bride squad or family you have lost that special moment that only comes once you find "The Dress". So come prepared to find "The One" on your first visit with us!
We do offer the "Dame" experience bridal appointment. Grab your best gal pals and your family and be treated like the classy beautiful bride you are. The store will be closed after hours exclusively for you and your party for two hours. The whole store will be open to you to try on not only gowns, but your bridal accessories as well. You will be served sweet treats and refreshments. The lovely bride to be will receive a bridal gift bag as well. Feel free to take pictures that will last you a lifetime and remember that moment when you said your second "yes" !
The "Dame" appointment is $100
We at Two Dames Bridal request that you visit us by making an appointment so that we may help you find "The One". Please make your appointments with us 24 hours in advance.
Alterations
Although we do not offer alterations at Two Dames Bridal, we are happy to refer you to some excellent seamstresses in the area. Please note that the seamstresses are performing alterations as part of their own business and are not affiliated with Two Dames Bridal. Two Dames Bridal & More is not liable for any dress alterations.
FAQs
When do I arrive?
Please arrive on time to your appointment. In most cases, we have appointments prior and following your appointments so should you arrive early or late we may not be able to assist you.
Who should I bring?
It's important to have friends & family with you on this important day, so we recommend bringing only those whose opinions matter most and those who understand your unique style. We also ask that you do not bring children....this is your day to shine.
How far in advance do I need to order my dress?
The earlier the better! You need to order 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding to avoid any stress!
How do I pay for my dress?
We accept all forms of payment (cash, check, credit card). We do prefer that you pay for your gown in full. If you prefer to break up the cost a 50% deposit is required to order your dress. The remainder of the cost is due 6 weeks after you place your order. Dresses sold off-the rack must be paid in full!
Can I take pictures?
We request that you take your pictures after you have decided on "The Dress". It will help us better serve you in a timely and efficient manner to help you find the perfect dress.
How long is my appointment?
We have three different bridal appointments. The bridal basic is an hour. The bridal plus is an hour and a half. The Dame experience bridal appointment is 2 hours. We reserve this time for you so you will have the best personal experience. While you are here at your appointment, our bridal stylists will work one on one with you and your party in our bridal suite to give you the ultimate bridal experience.
(A card number is required to reserve your appointment time)
What type of undergarments do I need?
Your bridal stylist will be popping in and out of your room to help you get dresses on and off so wear something you are comfortable in. Light or skin toned color undergarments are suggested. We also provide some robes for you in your dressing room to help you feel as comfortable as possible.
Are walk-ins welcome?
We do allow walk-ins Wednesday-Friday (summer hours differ) if the bridal suite is available at the time of your arrival. If an appointment is taking place during the time of your arrival you may not be able to try any gowns on. Appointments are greatly encouraged to insure your space in the bridal suite. Walk-ins can always give us a call before arriving to check and see if our bridal suite is free.
Steaming Services
Bridal Gown and Veil Steaming
We offer bridal gown and veil steaming to brides that need their bridal look steamed on their wedding week. Call to set up a time to bring your wedding gown and veil the week of your wedding.
